Valerie was only released in Mexico by Cipsa as Barbie's Mexican friend during the mid-1970s and into the Superstar era. She alternated between using the Stacey and the Steffie head mold and was released in several editions, including:

- Activa Valerie (Equivalent to Free Moving)
- Peinado Magico Valerie (Equivalent to Quick Curl)
- Hollywood Valerie (Equivalent to Superstar)
