Model of the Moment Marisa is a character from the Model of the Moment collection. She was one of three new characters, including Daria and Nichelle, all of whom introduced new face sculpts and body molds that would continue to be used on Barbie brand dolls to this day. There were two Marisa dolls: the Marisa Pretty Young Thing in 2004 for the first wave; and the Marisa Beach Baby in 2005 for the second wave.

Cha Cha Barbie - Dance Off from the Grease Collection, using the Marisa Revised face sculpt, which never got to be used for a Model of the Moment doll.
- Marisa is the only Model of the Moment character to get two different face sculpts. The second one, Marisa Revised, was never actually used for a Model of the Moment doll however. The face was Marisa with an open mouth showing teeth, and was meant to be used for a potential third wave of dolls featuring yet another version of Marisa, but this never happened once Model of the Moment was discontinued. The sculpt eventually resurfaced to be used for a few Grease dolls and another version of Wicked Witch of the West.
