Blush Fringed Gown Barbie Doll is a Platinum Label collector Barbie designed by Carlyle Nuera and released as the premiere doll in the discontinued The Pink Collection. She was produced at no more than 999 units and was only available to order exclusively for Barbie Fan Club Members.

This doll was the debut entry for a new collection of dolls wearing different shades of Barbie's signature color, pink. This first doll in "The Pink Collection," wears a blush pink tulle gown featuring embroidered floral and bird motifs on the bodice. Layers of blush pink fringe follow for the sleeves and also for the gown skirt. These exquisite details are accented by bold accessories including silvery tassel earrings and bracelet. Sleek styled hair, makeup and painted nails complete the impeccable look. Doll includes an articulated body, perfect for posing.

  • This doll was the premiere doll for The Pink Collection, and ended up being the only doll in the series, as the collection was abruptly discontinued without explanation.
  • The Claudette Gordon face sculpt was Afrocentric and previously used only for African American dolls. This doll was the first Caucasian doll to feature the face sculpt.
