Amanda is a friend of Stacie's who moves in near Barbie's house. In the book "Girls Club: Let's Be Friends", Amanda gets introduced to Stacie by Barbie. She and Stacie make a clubhouse out of a shed in her backyard. Amanda also appears in the book "No Teasing Allowed" where the popular girls are making fun of her because she dresses very preppy and spilled soda on herself. She is great at basketball and she joins the team. Barbie helps Amanda and Stacie learn how to deal with teasing.

Amanda has had two different appearances. In one, she has sandy colored hair in short pigtails. She has freckles. Her eyes are blue. Amanda's second appearance shows her as a black doll with afro puffs.
