2002 Barbie AA
Adria, also known as Desiree by the fans, is a face sculpt patented in 2001 and first introduced with the 2002 Barbie.

The face sculpt was originally created for a planned Barbie friend who was going to be named Adria, but the doll never went into production. As the sculpt had already been molded anyway, it saw use as a collector face sculpt initially for AA dolls, before it made its transition into the playline dolls. The sculpt became the official face for Barbie's friend Desiree in 2005 for the Fashion Fever series, leading to the fan nickname. The sculpt was also frequently used as Nikki's face in the playline dolls, and replaced the Asha (Face Sculpt ©1990) as the face used for AA counterparts of CEO / Generation Girl Face Sculpt ©1998 Barbie dolls in the 2010's.
