I personally don't want baby plots. Babies are usually annoying in cartoons (like in mlp, Flurry and Sparky Sparkeroni) and a lot of the storyline are the same (parents can't sleep, a slightly older sibling feels dejected, parents want a night out but babysitting goes crazy, ect). We already have the space for a baby filled in Skipper Babysitting episodes. There are very rare occasions where I love the baby character, an exception is Socks from Bluey. But she is almost a toddler and acts like a dog not a screaming baby. I just think Krissy would distract from Barbie's friends and existing family.

There are times when George and Margaret Roberts would have Krissy some day, Skipper would do great a babysitting with some help from Barbie, Stacie and Chelsea from time to time if so. True that George and Margaret would be up for her midnight feeding and diapering, but there are times when Baby, Stacie, Skipper and Chelsea would pitch in once in a while. And besides, I can only imagine Barbie taking Krissy out for a stroll so her friends could take a look at her and wanted to hold and play with her for a bit.

But having Krissy would keep the girls and the family away from adventure. Episodes where they can travel are way more fun then having to stop plans because someone needs to watch the baby. They don't need to be dragged down by a baby. It is called Dreamhouse ADVENTURES not Dreamhouse Daycare. If the show was for an even younger audience maybe but it is themed around adventures.
