Hello Barbie fans! I've been working with @XTinkerBellx and @HaloDeModa to help the wiki undergo some upgrades over the past few months, so I just wanted to mention them for those who missed it.
We're now on the Fandom app, so you can browse the wiki and participate in Discussions through the app alongside your other favorite wikis!
We started adding portable infoboxes across the wiki, as there are a lot of pages that still don't have them. You can help add missing infoboxes to these pages!
There's now a dark theme wiki background to match the light theme.
The wiki rules (found via the main page) have been updated.
There's now a Discord server you can join from the right rail on almost all wiki pages!
The release of Barbie, the live-action movie, was a great success for the wiki and you can find coverage of the movie and its characters here!
There's still a lot we can do to keep the wiki growing. Some of the big things are the portable infoboxes I mentioned above as well as categorization.
Uncategorized pages are ones that aren't in any categories, which means for readers who browse the categories as a means of navigation, these pages will be somewhat hidden. Giving them an appropriate set of categories will help people find them!
Uncategorized categories are in a similar boat, also being harder to find, resulting in the pages included within them being harder to find. If these can be categorized under their relevant parent categories this issue will be solved for them, too.
What else do you think the wiki needs? Wikis are ongoing processes, so there are always ways to improve. Let us know your thoughts and maybe we can help turn them into plans!
